Basic Language Program
Our Basic Language Program introduces students to the Latin language and its history and traditions.
Each course in the sequence is a 4-credit hour course that meets one hour a day, four days a week. Students in our courses learn to read, write, and translate Latin.
|LAT 101 – Elementary Latin I||placement||Fall|
|LAT 102 – Elementary Latin II||LAT 101 or placement||Spring|
|LAT 103 – Intermediate Latin I||LAT 102 or placement||Fall|
|LAT 104 – Intermediate Latin II||LAT 103 or placement||Spring|
Students who pass Latin 104 fulfill the LAS language requirement.
