Young Kim selected for Public Voices Fellowship
Young Kim, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Classics and Mediterranean Studies, has been selected for the University of Illinois' 2020-2021 cohort of the Public Voices Fellowship. This program aims to "help faculty amplify their expertise in ways that can contribute to public conversations about pressing issues." During the upcoming year, Prof. Kim will attend workshop sessions and be paired with a journalism mentor with the aim of publishing two op-ed pieces during the year.
