Classics Head Nanno Marinatos chosen 2016 Most Distinguished Greek-American in the Field of Education
The United Hellenic Voters of America will award Classics and Mediterranean Studies Department Head Nanno Marinatos the honor of the "2016 Most Distinguised Greek-American in the Field of Education" on October 16, 2016.
The UHVA chose Professor Marinatos for her reputation as a recognized scholar of ancient Greek history and culture, her numerous publications, and her leadership in presenting educational events as a representative of UIC. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Marinatos on this honor.
