Download iCal FileLuis Alfaro, professor of dramatic writing at the University of Southern California and MacArthur fellow, will be visiting UIC. Professor Alfaro is best known for his award-winning adaptations of Greek tragedy set in modern Latinx/Chicanx settings. In partnership with Chicago’s Teatro Vista, Professor Alfaro will presenting a staged reading, a series of workshops, and a panel event with Professor Young Richard Kim (Classics & Mediterranean Studies).
