Paris Papamichos Chronakis’s article published in special issue of Quest. Issues in Contemporary Jewish History

Paris Papamichos Chronakis has just published an article entitled "From the Lone Survivor to the Networked Self: Social Networks Meet the Digital Holocaust Archive" in the online journal Quest. Issues in Contemporary Jewish History. It appears in a special issue on "Holocaust Research and Archives in the Digital Age."

The article lays down the theoretical groundwork and presents the first, slightly impressionistic findings of a broader project on digitially visualizing the social networks of Salonican Holocaust survivors in camps and in hiding. The project, still in its infancy, is coordinated by Dr. Giorgos Antoniou (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and Papamichos Chronakis.

You can read the article freely online.
